About ParaMaps

An independent archive documenting paranormal reports, folklore files, and strange places worth mapping.

What this is

Why ParaMaps Exists

I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal. Ghost stories, strange encounters, folklore creatures, unexplained places — if it’s mysterious, it has my attention.

Maybe some of that started as escapism. Maybe it’s just curiosity. Either way, I’ve always been drawn to the stories people tell about the things they can’t quite explain.

ParaMaps is where I collect those stories, cases, and legends — not to sensationalise them, but to document them properly and explore the patterns behind them.

How I Approach It

I love the mystery — but I also love asking questions. When I log a case, I try to balance curiosity with logic. If there’s a rational explanation, it gets noted. If there isn’t, it stays open.

This isn’t about proving everything is supernatural. It’s about documenting experiences, folklore, and anomalies in a way that respects both scepticism and wonder.

The archive isn’t about who’s behind it. It’s about the cases, the folklore, and the experiences people choose to share.
